Note: It is my daily practice to go to a Golden Memory, often from the day before, and ask God to reveal where He was, and then enjoy the experience of being with Him. Yesterday, when I asked God what Golden Memory He wanted to take me to, I felt a prompting to ask this question:
Where were you in the garden of Eden with Adam and Eve before the fall? Following is the vision that I received.
Adam and Eve were tending the garden God had given them. It was warm, sunny with a slight breeze, low humidity, perfect temperature and comfort. It was another day in Paradise. As they were taking in the Father’s great love for them and how they were blessed beyond measure, and that everything in their lives was perfect, they wondered what they might do to express their gratitude to the Trinity.
The idea that Adam and Eve came up with was to create a new section of the garden where they would plant a splendid mixture of bright colored flowers. They named it Glory Alley, and wanted to present it as a gift to the Lord, and invite Him to walk with them in the cool of the day. Eve had some ideas of selecting the combination of colors and shapes and types of plants. Together they designed what was the most beautiful thing they could come up with, using what God had made, and using the creativity that He had given them. Excitement and joy filled them, and they went about this job with great enthusiasm.
God was watching all of this happen, to His great delight. It was an act of love, and He was feeling their love. He knew all they are doing is made possible by Him, but their intentionality of doing this to honor Him blessed His heart beyond measure.
Each day they would transplant, plant and water Glory Alley. Over time (although rapidly) it grew and filled in and each day became more glorious. The excitement that Adam and Eve felt increased, as did their anticipation of the day of presentation.
The day came when Adam and Eve held hands as they strolled down Glory Alley, beholding its stunning beauty, glory and radiance. It was the most beautiful place on the face of the earth, and they could feel a special sense of God’s presence in this holy and majestic place. They looked at each other and nodded, knowing that the time of the presentation had come.
That evening, when they were walking with God in the cool of the day, Adam invited the Trinity to a very special meal and event to be held the following evening.
Early the next morning, Adam and Eve enlisted the help of many animals to help gather the food. Birds, squirrels and bears and many other animals helped to gather food, washed it in the streams and prepared it so that everything was perfect. The whole feast was laid out with beauty; everything was of the highest quality, worthy of a banquet with the Most High God. All of creation was fluttering with excitement and anticipation.
At the appointed hour, in the cool of the day, the Father, Son and Holy Spirit arrived, carried in a celestial royal carriage. A host of angels, who were abuzz with excitement, lead the way and others followed. The attention of the entire universe, including the furthest outpost, was focused on this breathtaking event.
As the carriage begins to ascend, the angles blew their trumpets to announce their arrival. All the animals who were scurrying around stopped in their tracks and all eyes were on the Trinity. Glory, radiance and majesty flowed from the Trinity, yet God turned it down to where it did not overwhelm creation; He matched their capacity to take it in.
As the three Members of the Trinity came out, Eve presented each of One with the most beautiful bouquet of flowers that has ever been assembled, which each Member received with a bow. The stately Father had a glimmer of joy in His eyes, the Son beamed with pure joy and gratitude, and Holy Spirit responded with taking on the colors of the bouquet and swirling around in joy and gratitude. All three were so incredibly blessed by all of creation, but were especially grateful to Adam and Eve for initiating the idea.
Adam and Eve lead them to the banquet table, as the animals put the final touches on bringing the food. They escorted the party to the table and seated them, and served them the best meal in the history of the young planet, with a delightful conversation.
The Trinity was bringing glory to one another and to Adam and Eve. Adam and Eve brought glory and honor to each of the Trinity. Honor and glory flowed freely between the five of them; something of stunning beauty. And the five of them honored the animals and all of creation for their part.
When the meal was finished and all are satisfied, then it was time for presentation of Glory Alley. As they walked in, the added presence of God, caused the level of the glory in the garden to go up several notches. What was glorious, what was the best that man could do with what God had given them, became much more glorious because of the presence and glory of the Trinity.
There is a place where God’s glory is so great that it overwhelms. Some of the baby animals began to cry, and their mothers held them and comforted them; others had to take them away to settle them down. Whatever the line was of when it was too much, the intersection between the Creator and His creation was right there, the line between pleasure and pain. They beheld God’s glory, and were amazed and taken aback.
The story ends with a group hug, the best embrace yet taken place. The three members of the Trinity were hugging Adam and Eve, and love and blessings were flowing between all of them.
