Negativity vs Optimism

October 26, 2012 By jeff Leave a Comment

It must be a week and a half before the Presidential Election.  Obama ate lunch a block from my office on Wednesday.  Romney is coming to town on Monday.  The latter believes his best chance to win is to focus on what is wrong with the country.  The former believes his best chance to win is to focus on what is wrong with his challenger.  Negative campaign ads are nauseating.  How I look forward to Nov 7th!

My beloved mother send her family the attached article, “Reasons for Optimism,” a recent commencement address by journalist Fareed Zakaria.  It was a very good reminder that although we face some serious problems in this country, that actually, things are going very, very well.  It is very good to take a step back and look at how good we have it.  Do you have 4 minutes to read this article?  I think you will be very glad if you make that investment of your time….
